Rules for the Seven Crown Resorts 2008 Student Art Contest
 
THERE IS NO PURCHASE OR RESERVATION REQUIRED
TO ENTER THE ART CONTEST OR RECEIVE A PRIZE.

These Official Rules apply to the “Student Art Contest” promotional contest conducted by Seven Crown Resorts. The competition will start at 12:01 am PST on April 11, 2008 and will end at 11:59 PST on May 19, 2008. By entering this contest, you agree to the Terms in the Official Rules.

1. CONTEST ENTRANTS AND PRIZE RECIPIENTS MUST BE LEGAL RESIDENTS OF ONE OF THE FIFTY (50) UNITED STATES OR THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA, FULL-TIME STUDENTS, KINDERGARTEN THROUGH HIGH SCHOOL. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW. CONTEST IS SUBJECT TO ALL APPLICABLE FEDERAL, STATE AND LOCAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS. Employees of Seven Crown Resorts and its agencies and affiliates, and their immediate families are not eligible.
2. HERE'S HOW TO ENTER: Log onto SevenCrown.com/contest to download an Entry Form and submit it with one original drawing, painting or collage by mailing them to Art Contest, Seven Crown Resorts, PO Box 16247, Irvine, CA 92623. To enter, entrants will be required to provide their full name, age, name of school (or home school) and grade, the name of a parent or legal guardian, address, zip code, phone number and a valid e-mail address for a parent or legal guardian. Submitted artwork will not be returned and may be used by Seven Crown Resorts for advertising and promotional purposes, with credit to the artists. Seven Crown Resorts is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, misaddressed, or otherwise misdirected entries that are processed late or incorrectly or are lost due to computer or electronic malfunction or other error. Duplicate entries will be disqualified. ALL ENTRIES MUST BE RECEIVED BY THE CONTEST CLOSING TIME AND DATE: 11:59 PM PST ON MAY 19, 2008.
3. WINNER SELECTION: Two (2) Grand Prize Winners will be selected; one (1) from each of the following age categories: Students in grades K through 6; students in grades 7 through 12. The winners will be chosen by a panel of judges based on the artwork submitted. Artwork will be judged on originality and odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
4. PRIZE: Two (2) Grand Prizes each consist of: One seven (7)-day/six (6)-night Grand Sierra Houseboat Vacation valid during any season at any Seven Crown Resorts location, for the Winner(s) and up to twelve (12) guests. Rental contract for the houseboat vacation will be made in the name of the winning child’s parent or legal guardian, who must be over 21. Holidays, fuel, Limited Damage Waiver and Security Deposit are not included. Trip must be completed by December 31, 2008. The approximate retail value of each Grand Prize is $3,050. Actual Retail Values of each Grand Prize may vary depending on the time of year the prize is utilized. Winner will be solely responsible for any and all ground transportation between winner’s and guest(s)' residence(s) and the Seven Crown Resorts location of choice, travel upgrades, meals, any personal expenditures and any and all expenses not stated herein. Seven Crown Resorts is not responsible for any fees or additional charges resulting from Winner’s or Guest’s change of accommodations. Grand Prize Winner(s) may not choose the cash value in lieu of the prize. No substitution, assignment or transfer of any prize is permitted. In the event a prize is unavailable for any reason, Seven Crown Resorts reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. All federal, state and local taxes on prize, if any, will be the sole responsibility of the Grand Prize Winner.
5. CLAIMING PRIZE/RELEASE: Grand Prize winner will be notified by e-mail on or about June 1, 2008. If a winner notification is returned and undeliverable, the winner is ineligible, or the winner declines a prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected.
6. USE OF INFORMATION: The information that you provide in connection with the contest may be used for Seven Crown Resorts’ internal purposes and to send you information about Seven Crown Resorts’ products and special promotions but will not be provided to third parties except as required by law or legal process. Entry constitutes permission to post winners’ entries on Website and to use winners’name, hometown and/or likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without further compensation unless prohibited by law. 7. NAME OF PRIZE WINNER: To receive the name(s) of the Grand Prize Winner(s) (available after May 30, 2008), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to be received by May 30, 2008 to: Seven Crown Resorts Art Contest, PO Box 16247, Irvine, CA 92623.
