Instant Key Lime Pie
1 can sweetened condensed milk (low fat is ok)
Juice of two limes
Ready made shortbread pie crust (Keebler)
Cool Whip or whipping cream
Squeeze juice out of both limes, add to sweetened condensed can of milk; stir to mix. Pour into pie crust. Top with Cool Whip or whipping cream. Keep refrigerated.
Marshmallow Delight
1 (16oz) carton sour cream
1 (12oz) can pineapple (drained)
2 (8oz) can mandarin oranges (drained)
1 (16oz) pkg. marshmallows
In a large mixing bowl, mix sour cream, pineapple, and mandarin oranges. Add marshmallows and stir until marshmallows are well coated with sour cream. Cover and refrigerate overnight. Serve cold and enjoy!
“I Will Never Buy a Boxed Brownie Mix Again” Brownies
2 sticks salted butter
4-1 oz squares unsweetened baking chocolate
2 cups granulated sugar
4 eggs
1 cup all purpose flour
1 cup semisweet chocolate bits
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Butter or spray a 9 x 13 baking dish.
In a medium bowl, melt butter and chocolate in microwave, stirring occasionally until smooth, for about 3 minutes. Allow to cool slightly. Meanwhile, with a spoon, mix eggs, sugar and vanilla until combined. Stir flour into egg mixture and mix until combined. Add chocolate mixture and chocolate chips to flour and egg mixture and stir one more time until mixture is full incorporated. Pour into prepared pan.
Bake for 24 minutes and remove from oven. Allow to cool before cutting. You will never buy a boxed brownie mix again!
Grilled Banana Splits
1 long ripe Banana
3 TBSP (approx) Chocolate chips
3 TBSP (approx) Marshmallow crème
3 TBSP (approx) Chopped pecans
With the skin on, slice the banana, lengthwise, from top of stem to end, but do not pierce the bottom skin and do not slice all the way to end. Gently pry open. Sprinkle open banana with chocolate chips, marshmallow cream and chopped pecans. Wrap in aluminum foil, tightly, and place on grill for 5 minutes until banana is softened and ingredients are melted. Eat with a spoon right out of the banana peel!
